Bathing has many benefits. It seems that people are in too much of a hurry, often quick showers win out over a good old fashioned bath. A 10-20 minute soak in the tub can help you to relax, increase circulation, reduce stiffness, reduce pain, and detox. Cellular fluid gets pushed back into circulation. People suffering from arthritis, chronic pain, edema, varicose veins, constipation, neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and asthma can benefit. Adding Epsom salts or bath sea salts can experience added benefits. If you add a couple of drops of essential oil you can get the added help of aromatherapy. Dead sea salts are another option. People have visited the Dead Sea for centuries for the therapeutic properties of it's concentrated minerals.
