Stretch marks and scars plague many people. Some people wear stretch marks like a badge of honor, while most people are self-conscious of them, preferring to keep them covered with clothing. I’ve tried several oils and creams promising to reduce the appearance of scars and stretch marks and haven’t seen much in the way of results. I’ve been using InstaNatural Stretch Mark and Scar Cream and was both curious and hopeful about the potential results.

I’ve been skeptical that creams or oils can make scars or stretch marks disappear. I think some may help decrease their appearance. Using cream or oil may particularly help fresh scars or scars that are more toward the upper layer of skin, rather than ones that go to deeper layers. Pregnant women may find it helps to rub the cream on their growing belly to make their skin suppler to prevent stretch marks.

InstaNatural Stretch Mark and Scar Cream is supposed to diminish the appearance of scar and stretch marks. It is also supposed to prevent new ones from forming. It is made of 25% natural oils. The cream delivers nourishment and hydration to skin to improve elasticity.

This does seem to be a quality product with some great ingredients, like vitamin C, cocoa butter, rosehip oil, mango butter, grape seed oil, evening primrose oil. I’m in love with the scent, and have found that it moisturizes quite well. It is greasy feeling at first, but it does absorb well and the greasy feeling does not linger long.

To use the cream: apply it to clean, dry skin and massage the cream in a circular motion. Apply it to targeted areas with stretch marks or scars or to areas that are prone to developing stretch marks. Massaging the area can increase circulation and using the cream can increase skin’s moisture and elasticity. For better results, exfoliate skin two to three times per week to help shed the old skin cells.

I’ve been using the cream for about four weeks. It is recommended by InstaNatural to use the product twice a day, consistently. I’ll admit that I have not necessarily applied it twice each day. As far as its performance for reducing the appearance of scars or stretch marks, I haven’t made any conclusions.  My skin is softer and smoother. The company does advise that it may take two months of regular use to see results. I’ll keep using the product and see what happens. It is important to note that regular and continued use of the product is recommended.
