I've been blogging for several years on topics ranging from postpartum depression, social issues, and health. I'm a mother of two young boys, a freelance writer, and I've been a 911 operator/public safety dispatcher. I'm trying to age gracefully and come to terms with the fact that I'm not 25 (not 35, either) anymore.
As a teen I wanted to be "beautiful" and glamorous like the women in the magazines. I read every book on beauty, make-up, and hair that the local library had. It took me a few years, but I finally realized that real beauty starts on the inside. Being well groomed is important, but even more is what a person is on the inside.
I get great enjoyment out of the simple things in life, like trying a new scent or body butter. I love cosmetics, trying new things with makeup, and hair styles look great (but that don't take a lot of time). Living within a budget is important, so I enjoy things that are inexpensive and saving money.I also believe that there is a strong correlation between health and appearance. It's important to eat well and take care of the whole person, in order to look good.
My writing has appeared on many popular websites, like Dailyglow.com and Yahoo!. I also write for Examiner.com as a Beauty Examiner, which is truly exciting.
Writing on Fire - my website highlighting my writing. I regularly write web content, articles, and perform miscellaneous copy writing and ghostwriting. If you would like web content, blog pieces, or articles written, feel free to contact me tiffany@writingonfire.us
